- Increase gender equality with a specific focus on improving access for females
- Directly assist the training and employment of new teachers
- Increase the availability and quality of classrooms and learning materials
- Develop local opportunities to undertake further vocational education to aid employment

Vision
Driven by the motivation of addressing poverty and lack through sustainable development, ICARE is an organisation that exists to improve access and opportunity for education for women and children in developing countries. Furthermore, it aims to improve participation rates in secondary education, with the specific ambition of facelifting the training of teacher. This focus improves employment and economic opportunity and directly improves the health of individuals and communities; moreover, it lays a foundation for long-term stability that can break the cycle of poverty.
ICARE is a signatory to the Australian Council for International Development (ACFID) and a compliant signatory to ACFID’s Code of Conduct.
